The research was easy and all of the websites had the right information that we wanted. The most fascinating was the biggest meteorite did not make a crater, because it had a long shallow angle when it enterned the atmosphere so it slowed down and did not make a crater. Some of the information was a little hard, because some of the information we could not find and it took a long time to find it.
I never knew Ida was 243rd asteriod to be discovered I thought multiple of asteriods were discovered at once, not at different times.
ReplyDeleteYou didn't answer question number sixteen or say who it was discovered by.
ReplyDeleteZoe, they said the comet hale-bopp was discovered by Thomas Bopp. I like how you put pictures to help illustrate what each thing was. I agree with Tyler I thought that asteroids were discovered in groups I didn't know that each one was discovered seperately.
ReplyDeleteI never knew some of this information. But, when I was trying to answer number 16, like Zoe, I couldn't figure out why the Hale-Bopp was named. All that it says is that it was founded by Thomas Bopp. That could mean anything.
ReplyDeletezoe on the powerpoint it says what the famous comets and famous asteroids and that is the question for number 16. That is the answer for zoe's question. and if you want to know who it was founded by for the asteroids ask marissa she had the information for it.
ReplyDeletesome of the information is not on there cause the famous comets and asteroids were marissa's part and if you want to find out about the comet here is a link. http://www2.jpl.nasa.gov/comet/
ReplyDeletehttp://www2.jpl.nasa.gov/comet/ this is a website for the famous ida asteroid.
ReplyDeleteI like all your facts and how you explained everything easily. One of the things that I liked that you said was that asteroids were fragements left from 4.6 billion years ago.
ReplyDeletei liked how you showed facts and the choice of pictures. I do have a question though about were did you show how all three of them were different.
ReplyDeleteThis information was really interesting, and new to me. Great facts. It was interesting reading about Ida, especially.
ReplyDeleteThis was a great project it was very easy to find the information for the questions good job
ReplyDeletei meant to say were did you show how all three of comets astreiods, metors were diffrent from one antoher?
ReplyDeleteI can't believe Ida can orbit the sun in just 4 hours, check some gramatical errors like founded.
ReplyDeleteNice project guys! The information was clear for the most part but try and mention why aand how some of the things were named since you didn't answer those questions in your powerpoint. I didn't know that the meteor, meteorite, and meteoroid were all just a large cycle with each other.
ReplyDeleteGood job you guys. This was easy to understand. You did have so errors tho with spelling and things like that, but if you would fix that up then this project would be great. I never knew that there is a comet is about 25 miles across and is visible by the eye for 19 months. That is really cool. Nice facts all throughout your project tho.
ReplyDeleteI like how every single thing that you guys put in your presentation is a question, so you guys answered all of the questions.
ReplyDeleteit was really intersesting to learn about asteroids, but also kind of scary. I never knew that meteor is actually a rock.
ReplyDeleteit was cool and kinda scary but it was interesting to learn those facts.
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I never knew the difference between comets and asteroids.
